Abstract

This article gives an account of the complex legal problems of euthanasia, not only because of its ethical, social and legal connotations, but also because it directly affects the difficulty of legitimizing by law a decision that, being highly personal, directly affects the non-derogable dignity of life itself. For this analysis, the values that are at stake in this matter will be highlighted, as well as the regulation that has been given in other countries and the bill that has been presented in the Parliament of our country.
