Abstract

This article considers that Green Paper “Modernising Labour Law” proposes to reduce labour market segmentation through flexicurity. Concept and pathways of flexicurity are better developed by Comissión’s Communication on “Common principles of flexicurity”. Finally, question 12 of Green Paper —on protection of frontier and posted workers and on the need of a community definition of “employee”— is discussed, considering also ILO Recommendation on Employment Relationship
