Abstract

This article analyzes the characteristics of jihadist terrorism that may be of interest to legal practitioners. It studies succinctly the relationship of jihadist terrorism with Islam and Islamism; the peculiarities of its organizational structure; personal profiles, funding systems, recruitment and learning, as well ways to use violence, particularly in Western societies.
